We're very pleased to report that the National Immigration Policy Summit was a huge success!

Rather than reinvent the wheel, we'll direct you to the excellent work of others who covered the Summit.  Blogger and photographer Kim Mattina put together a very nice write-up, with some gorgeous photos.  Big Dave posted a very nice slideshow of the Saturday Night rally.  FOX10 Phoenix covered the Friday Memorial ServiceThe Arizona Republic covered both the Candlelight Vigil and the Rally.  Reuters covered the Rally., as did the Mail Tribune, the Sonoran Weekly ReviewPhilly.com, and many other news outlets.  Moonbattery posted photos and commentary of the Summit.  Tea Party Patriots Blog, ResistNet and One Old Vet also covered the Summit.  Charles Benninghoff posted additional commentary HERE.

An event like this is not carried off by one person, or even a few, but only through the combined efforts of dozens of volunteers and donors and hundreds of grassroots activists spreading the word and participating.  First of all, we must thank Ted Hayes for originally approaching the rest of the coalition members with his vision for the Summit.  This was Ted's vision, and Ted's event, from the very beginning. We can all thank Senator Russell Pearce for hosting the event, and Eric Johnson for his excellent work heading up the organizing committee.  Jennifer Patentreger did an incredible job handling the details of the Memorial Service, Candlelight Vigil, Law and Policy Seminars and Saturday Night Rally.  Tim Rafferty, Rich Martin, and the whole Riders USA team deserve our gratitude for handling security for parking and vendors.  Jim Cooney and his team from Riders Against Illegal Aliens did an outstanding job handling general event security.  Nick D'Orazio did great work setting up the livestream, thereby allowing thousands of viewers to watch the event remotely.

The always-amazing Michelle Malkin was incredibly helpful to us in spreading the word about the Summit to patriots across the nation, and we owe Michelle our eternal thanks for her continued support of the cause of secure borders.  Michelle's agreement to join us for the Summit was a welcome and unexpected surprise.  Michelle has been a strong and courageous leader in this fight, and we can't overemphasize how critical Michelle's leadership has been, and will continue to be.

Each and every one of you who contributed even a dollar to the summit can take pride in your support of an excellent event!  We cannot thank you enough for your support.

The event could not have been a success without the support of our many coalition partners, participants and supporters.  We must thank America's Black ShieldGrassfire NationNumbersUSA, F.A.I.R.RidersUSA, Riders Against Illegal AliensAmericans Against Illegal Immigration, Southern California Tax Revolt CoalitionStandWithArizona.com and The Immigration Reform Coalition of Texas., along with the many other groups supporting this event in many ways large and small.

We offer our sincerest thanks to all of our speakers and seminar participants, including:

Professor John Eastman of Chapman University

Rev. Wayne Perryman

Rep. Sal Esquivel

Former INS Special Agent Michael Cutler

Maureen Wood of Progressives for Immigration Reform

Patrick Charles of the Immigration Reform Law Institute

Author Mason Weaver, host of The Mason Weaver Show

Words cannot express what I am feeling right now. I am so very proud of you all. Even though I cannot be there, I am with you in every way that is possible. Our prayers go up continually for you all in your righteous fight. We are praying especially for protection and victory. Don't ever, ever give up. Yours is the last stand. If you lose, we all lose. God bless you all.

I am in heart with all you do, even though I cannot make it to AZ. The shipping in of SEIU people was shameful, as was desecration of our flag and your state flag. Stand strong. More prayers and support are with you than you can imagine.

Wish we could have been there for the memorial service for those who lost their lives at the hand of illegals! My son in law was killed by an illegal in the this country for the last 10 yrs and with a criminal record. He conveniently dissappeared before the trial for vehicular homicide. He killed my 33 yr olds husband and robbed their 10 yr old son of a wonderful father. thanks. Jean

I stand with Arizona. I am the daughter Jean Hawkins speaks of above. One of the hardest things I've ever had to do is tell my son his daddy would not be coming home again. My heart goes out to anyone who's lost a loved one. My prayers are with you.

I am so happy with the passion all of you have put into this, what most of us are so passionate about. To be able to put together these events week in and week out and to do so with such vigor just makes me happy knowing that I am not alone in my stand! AZ and the country for that matter nees this law to be passed, we need to keep illegals from flowing in willingly just to suckle on America's teet. I am all for a vast population of a different cultures, we all are, you just have to do it the correct way, thats all we ask! Please keep supporting Stand With AZ and this law. God Bless and keep up the good fight!

1.tHE U.S Constitution, art. III,section 2,second paragraph reads:~"In matters of disputes between States and Federal goverment(SB1070),the Supreme Court SHALL have ORIGINAL JURISDICTION".Therefore judge Bolton, and All others SHUT UP!
why pay >$500/hour to a lawyer when a foreign borned(wetback-kraut) engineer can READ and understand the Constitution without INTERPRETATION?
Eric Mohamed Holder,Hussein Barack Osama and all their lawyers CAN'T read?or plain STUPID?
2.The reason the democratic party(and associates NAACP,ACLU,Jeorge Soros, etc)are so afraid of the TEA PARTY(ies)and Fair TAX is because they have been organizing and brainwashing our kids in school for last 50 years to convert us to COMMUNISM(see SDS and WHEATHERMEN MANIFESTOS)and then almost OVERNIGHT Americans woke up and formed the TEA PARTY(ies)without MANIFESTOS or traditional leadership just palin PATRIOTS!
you're free to dissaminate my opinion and contact me
thanks Otto Fest

How do we get the video of the open boarders people desecrating are flag out to the general media?
I know of no one that is a veteran or a true American that would not be out raged by this video if they knew that these are the people ( illegal%u2019s ) that believe they deserve amnesty and yet treat are flag this way.
Also it should be known that if we the people tried to stop this desecration we would be arrested!!!
Another note worthy mention is that a United States Union stood by and did nothing to try and stop the open boarders people.

I could not be with you in person but I am supporting this cause. Ted Hayes I wish you could come to Memphis and educate the people, that this affects their Civil Rights.
