Oh, what a tangled web the leftist weave. I just keep adding cities to my BOYCOTT LIST. I hope they all fail. I am all aboard the BUY COT of Arizona. Takes guts and Glory to stand up to these spoon fed Brats on the left. I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE.... Stand tough. this is a easy win Arizona - the patriots of this Great Nation are behind you, all the way..
by Lisa  2010-05-18 15:40:21
Raally?? I'm an honorably discharged veteran and a "leftist" in full support of this law, like many others. what I don't support is nasty, name calling ppl like you.
by Elaine  2010-05-19 14:44:03
Go Vet! I am with you. Support Arizona.

Like I just previously stated, I have a copy of the letter from Arizona stating if the boycott continues, they shut off California's electricity. Fair enough as far as I am concerned!
by P Moudy  2010-05-18 18:00:21
I have taken it to 'tell all' of my employees that they are never to go to Arizona for any kind of trade or vacation. Your state is in no need for our moneys at all. Since my employees know how I feel about this they will do as they are told. They are not going to go there and join Boycotts against Arizona. I am tired of the rhetoric of people speaking of Illegals... since it was as my own family of the 'White Americans' that came to this country to steal it all from the Indians that tried to do the same by kicking all of us out! Telling us to do the same. And now, here we are... repeating the History by claiming this country to fit your way of thinking. Long lIve the Boycott against Arizona.
by http://overmycoffeecup.blogspot.com/  2010-05-23 13:04:47
P.Moudy, you have spoken like a true Socialist...telling your employees what they can and cannot do on their own time!! What a moron YOU are! I hope they all quit so you can hire illegals, then get busted for the traitor you are.
by  mccrevasse  2010-05-25 03:20:25
Truly,a distinct example od "Disease" in this country.Ignorance learned, then passed on genetically.
by Gee  2010-05-29 11:36:26
For an American-born white person your English is strangely like that of someone translating from Spanish. Ordering your employees around as if they are slaves -- interesting place from which to assert that you are the moral one in this forum.
by You Rock Arizona!!  2010-05-29 20:18:23
If you don't sound like an ILLEGAL (as in "YOU ARE A CRIMINAL") with that broken English of yours and your authoritarian attitude which I would expect from a DRUG LORD, then I don't know who is. Good luck with your English Classes>
by The Arizona Native  2010-05-29 01:13:26
Any chance that any of those employees of yours were not checked through eVerify? Be sure to tell them that they will be fine if they don't commit any crimes and come before the law actually goes in to affect.
by Elaine  2010-05-19 14:41:42
Go for it. I just got a copy of the letter Arizona sent to Calif. Basically, keep it up, and we'll cut your electricity off LOL
by  gerald345  2010-05-19 18:16:23
Keep it up and learn how to read by candlelight!! AMERICA STANDS WITH ARIZONA!!
by Tom Partain  2010-05-23 01:12:58
You must have us confused with some illiterate fool from Mexico. Where there is a nation of laws and boundaries one has to be authorized to enter. When my people came in 1609 there were no borders or a nation with laws. We were migrants just like any that might have been here. The Mexican migrated from Peru as that is where they were formed into 4 tribes. They NEVER MADE IT PAST THE MEXICAN VALLEY. After SPANISH conquers took over in 1521 they are the ones that checked out North America long before you were a Mexican nation which was 300 yrs later and that was only for 30 yrs. New Spain calmed what they had never seen and the maps only show Baja as an island in the early ca 1750 maps. They thought the Rio Grande was the Mississippi. They and you did NOT know the upper part of CA existed. Now we have law and we have borders and anyone crossing them must go through qualification to see if you qualify as citizen material. It is not a right nor guaranteed.
by Tom P  2010-05-23 01:18:49
elaine? You lie! You only have a lawn mower, a stolen gun, covered in tattoos, and you are merely trying to inflame, too late we are on fire and will consume the enemy of OUR nation
by edward willis  2010-05-15 21:46:21
i just want to thank you for what you have done and hope you don't back down one bit.it's time somsbody stood up to this problem that we are having with all illegals and it's a shame other states are boycotting you and even our own government who should have done something about this problem long ago.our prayers go out to your state.
by Ribbitt  2010-05-15 23:22:23
California produce kills people with E-coli germs. Boycott anything coming out of Calfornia, especially their produce. Fresh, frozen or canned, E-coli kills!

Tell your grocer that you will not shop with them anymore if they carry Calfornia vegetables and fruits.
by http://overmycoffeecup.blogspot.com/  2010-05-23 13:08:41
Just stop buying anything imported from Mexico, Calif., or any other state that is going against AZ. The best way to ensure this is to buy as much as you can over the Internet from AZ businesses and buy your produce from locals. It may take a bit of a search to find out who they are but they are there.
by frustrated in Oregon  2010-05-16 00:14:26
HELP! HELP! We need the same law in Oregon! Please help us, and connect to some of the pit party groups in Salem, and Lane County Oregon, and please try to help us pass the same Arizona law that you have now about immigration. We need support and help to do this, in Oregon! NOW.
by  Purple Frog  2010-05-16 17:45:19
Dear Oregon!
I hear your frustration!
Texas is awash in illegals too but we don't YET have the state leadership to do what AZ is doing!
Any state that thinks this is unfair, need only live in our cities for a time and see the mess we put up with!
by  Christy  2010-05-18 14:03:42
The Governor of Arizona has exhibited great leadership in placing the security of her citizens above political pressure from the far left. I encourage people in other states to pressure their legislatures to draft similar legislation.
by Phil  2010-05-18 18:05:21
I am surprised that I can see you going and buying Mecican foods and claim you support the people and then stab them in the back. Please hope that your home is never destroued or broken so those people don't have to go to help you. Even then I hope you don't have to go to a hospital where there is a Minority there to help you, maybe a bum that will allow you the decency to just go back home and help yourself. Vote for me so i can send you back to Europe, theres plenty of space there for you there, plus no Illegals like you claim are in Texas.
by Elaine  2010-05-19 14:46:06
Design an email campaign -- send it to all of your friends with each one of them mailing Faxing emailing a lettr to your state gov.

HEY there "PHIL"......if that is your name...... besides destroying people's homes, what do you do for a living?? Have you thought of seeing a therapist, you seem to have a lot of pent-up RAGE. I take it that you must be a heathen left-winger because you don't sound like a Christian Church-going kind of guy.
by http://overmycoffeecup.blogspot.com/  2010-05-23 13:10:18
Oregon is such a liberal state! I doubt this law would ever be passed there. (I lived in Astoria many years ago)
by James Holder  2010-05-16 07:42:04
I totally agree with Arizona's law and hope all states adopt it as well.
We might relieve the pressure of the Illegal aliens on our country.
by rachel  2010-05-16 11:36:22
Hooray for Arizona!!
Big Shame On our TX government for not supporting you. The reason being that about 60% of the Texas population is now Latino and our politicians want their vote. We are fighting the LCRA landgrab that is going on to steal and ruin thousands of acres of the TX hillcountry to run 10 story highlines from W TX windmills to E TX illegals. Statistics show that the amount of electricity that LCRA wants to supply will be equal to the needs of the illegals our state harbors! The amount of money the illegals cost TX each year is equal to the cost of this horrible project that will take people's homes away and ruin our land and businesses. Where is the sanity?? Send The Illegals Home! TX is also drowning in Red Ink and crime....How about that MS-13 gang? A real asset to the community, huh?
The Boerne Teaparty supports you and I will participate in your buycott. God bless your efforts and God Bless America.

Its the same thing as you had your own people doing that to the Indians. What a deal to say your not an Illegal in this great Country of ours. Sort of Sucks to say Great after knowing you allow your own family to do that back in time against people that had nothing but their own land to live on with no homes, just horses and animals to hunt.
by  gerald345  2010-05-19 18:18:31
My Indian ancestors were perfectly happy with whiskey and trinkets, so if it didn't bother them, it shouldn't bother you!
by http://overmycoffeecup.blogspot.com/  2010-05-23 13:24:17
I am Cherokee & Creek and my White ancestors have been here since 1660. (I am a genealogist so I know my family history very well) and to compare what happened over 300 yrs ago to today's undeclared invasion is not only wrong, it shows how lacking you are in American history.
There were no laws to break by Europeans coming to this land. Today there are many laws and Mexico's immigration laws and how they deal with illegals is many times harsher than America's.
This nation was won from Britian in the American Revolutionary War. If you have issues with "claim", take it up with the Crown.
Texas was won in battle as well. If you have issues, too bad. Read the Law of Nations by Vattel. It has been the law for civilized nations since the 1700's:
http://www.constitution.org/vattel/vattel.htm
We have borders and laws for a reason, just ask Mexico about their laws.
What hypocrites Mexico is and the American sympathizers.

GO AZ!!!! I say we boycott Los Angeles which depends on Tourism. And all other cities who are boycotting you. I had a trip planned to LA. Now I am staying home. They will not receive one dime of mine.

I agree boycott Los Angeles and San Fransicko! I try to avoid Los Angeles as much as possible and I live east of San Diego. I am even boycotting San Diego. My family including my 2 dogs are coming to Phoenix this weekend to support Arizona by spending money. We hope to make several trips to Pet Smart!!! This law will never be enforced in California because California Governor Swartzenoogle has no balls!

You have two families: "Joe Legal" and "Jose Illegal". PART 1
Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California .

Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.

Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".

Ready? Now pay attention...

Joe Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has
$31,231.00.

Jose Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes. Jose Illegal now has
$31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now
has $24,031..00.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a
by  Purple Frog  2010-05-16 17:19:50
PART 2
Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per
year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $9,631.00.

Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200..00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.

Jose Illegal says, "We don't need no stinkin' insurance!" and still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.

Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what
by phil  2010-05-18 18:12:51
Joe Legal is a nasty kind of republican that doesnt want to better people, just take and take and take for all they can. To bad they dont really see how it is doing that with people that helped build their companys and homes or businesses. Since you have to go and buy a house worth more then it in building the things. all for the sake of How you want to live and spend your money with what you call great deals. Yeah and of course be sure to add what politicians cost you for believing them to gain office so they can benifit on getting a huge paycheck after they leave office. Your tax dollars at work. Good for you.
by  Purple Frog  2010-05-16 17:20:19
PART 3
Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal's children both attend the same school. Joe Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get
a government sponsored lunch. Jose Illegal's children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal's children go home.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

Do you get it, now?
If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal aliens...
You are part of the problem!
by  Purple Frog  2010-05-16 17:25:40
Since I cannot be there in person but will be in spirit, will somebody PLEASE SHAKE THE GOOD SHERIFF'S HAND FOR ME AND TELL HIM WE'D WELCOME HIM TO TEXAS ANY TIME!
by utilize  2010-05-29 20:03:21
It makes me cry when I think of us folks here legally and all we have to pay to take care of the illegals. I am on social security and have to pay 94 out of social security for medicare then another 94 to pay for insurance for the things medicare does not cover. ..illegals get free medical services in the hospitals i pay taxes on to support. Services are being cut that I am eligible for like Fire and Police cause Arizona doesnt have enuf money.. DUH well stop supporting 480,000 people who are illegally here. WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL dont you understand ? If i break the law just a tiny bit I have to pay... what the hell is go ing on ? Boy they are all lucky i am old now or i would be out there leading the processions!!!!
67 year old woman who worked for 50 years and now is not eligible for any services since her social security is over poverty limits. its almost funny!!!! so i am crying.

from the Aug-12-18/09 newspaper: Victoria TX (80 miles west of Houston).local hispanic leaders in opposition to pending immigration legislation, boycotted all caucasian owned businessses last month as a demonstration of their economic impact on the community. the boycott was declared a success by the hispanic community, noting revenue in caucasian owned businesses down by 19%. business owners declared the boycott a success as well, pointing out that shoplifting was down 77%, money orders sent outside the country down 97%, cost of daily clean up and trash collection down 84%. shoppers reported they could actually hear English being spoken in the community for the first time in recent memory and customers paid for purchases with real money not government debit cards and food stamps.
HANG IN THERE ARIZONA! LET THEM BOYCOTT! YOU'LL SEE THE BENEFITS LIKE VICTORIA TX DID!

Someone had to be the first to take a stand. Let the rest of the country now follow in the footsteps of the great state of Arizona. Its time to take back our country.
by  ramaley.m  2010-05-16 22:50:19
Live in Atlanta, Georgia where there are a lot of legal hard working people some of whom are Latino. It is a shame to penalize people for obeying the law and reward those who disobey the law. There are many people here who are with you and your efforts to respect the law and economically survive the demands of illegals upon our government and society. Hopefully we can all learn to respect the law and find ways to support its effective enforcement before our government collapses from the unjust burden of providing services to people who are not entitled to those services. We have the laws on the books now it is up to all of us to better provide for the common defense and promote the welfare of our people. Identify, verify, and notify all economic transactions and when their friends quit supporting them they will go home.
by T.J. Parrish  2010-05-17 11:14:07
You are doing exactly what all the other states should be doing. Don't worry about the cities in Texas or anywhere else. The leaders of these cities that boycott you are totally aligned with the 'failed' group we have on Capital hill in Washington.Keep up the good work and don't let anyone deter you from your goals.
by  j_m_h  2010-05-17 12:39:52
Someone please list the names of the companies that are boycotting AZ. I want to boycot them. Stay strong AZ this is the best rebellion against the progressives that could be happening right now. I am proud of you all for this.
by Lisa McAllister  2010-05-17 12:54:49
We are boycotting California and any state who challenges Arizona.I called the companies we no longer patronize to let them know why.Safeway was particularly rude. Here's a twist. We are purchasing fruits, vegetables and other items made in Mexico distributed by states other than Ca, because those products are made by legal ciitzens of "Mexico" in "Mexico" who are not here illegally. Maybe some illegals will go home if they can't get work here. Also, many companies have addresses on their products that are "paper offices" and the bulk of payroll is in California etc.So check into that.As the buycotts and boycotts continue we will see more clever "address labels".Illegals come from across the globe. I question every contractor, painter, roofer, landscaper, "are all your employees legal" Even if e.g. Home Depot set up the installation. Several cancelled and another contractor was sent.Question with boldness. You will save American jobs! Get uppity. It's time we made "illegal" uncomfortable.

Ann is right.Illegal aliens come from all over the globe. However, 80% come from Mexico. When the word Mexico is used people please don't jump to the conclusion that we are unaware of the full scope of the problem. My first husband was Latino(legal).I was raised at the San Diego border where they run through your yard at night. It's not a racist issue.Just ease of access and the Latinos get most the corporate $$, have the power.Called McDonalds,Sears, j.c. Penny, Kroger,Verizon to say I am boycotting them and others Because they support La Raza. I was very nice to the employees and explained those corporate donations could be used to hire people, give better wages etc. Some of the employees were disturbed. One said I am very distressed to hear that. Their own employers are undermining their job security by giving money to groups supporting illegals. JC Penny employee said "send us an e mail" We must get serious, loud, fired up, share these lists, call, boycott. If not we will lose this battle.

I am so proud of you Patriots and stand with you 100%. When I saw a photo on the internet of a Mexican holding a sign stating that if we don't give them everything they want, they will kill more Arizona Police. That is a terrorist threat! I sent a copy to Governor Brewer and to the moron in the Homeland (joke)Security office. If I held up a sign saying I would kill Mexicans, wouldn't that be a terrorist threat? Would I be prosecuted? Yes, I am an American so I have no rights. November is our final chance to show our strength and determination to take our country back from the libs! God Bless and keep each of you and your families in this time of great battles.

I'm embarrassed that a handful of 'Texans' in Austin chose to enter the infamous boycott. My family and I thank you for taking a valiant stand to protect the citizens of your great state, and yes, this nation. Wish that we could join you on May 29. You will be in our prayers.

Sheriff Joe throws political protesters and journalists who oppose him in jail...but you're ok with that because it's happening to other people instead of to you. Lucky for you that liberals are more committed to American Values than your side is.
by Traci Schuh  2010-05-17 21:06:36
I wish I could be there. I sent an email yesterday to the City Council of Austin after hearing that they are boycotting, that our tourist $ would be limited based on their decision. Live in Dallas, you have our support. We will do what we can to support Arizona in the future. Thank you for upholding the law.
by alissa  2010-05-17 22:10:45
The ignorance displayed on this page is appalling- does anyone actually read and understand the issue or do you just spew what you've heard on neo-conservative talk radio? This is NOT how you protect the country. Please try to keep an intelligent dialogue about this and not let such moronic claims distract you from the reality of what is going on in AZ. While I don't support AZs legislation, I don't blame the small businesses. I DO blame the idiots who support this measure.

I Stand with you Arizona, Florida is my home state and we should all stand together as States "United" together to form this great nation, or we will fall one by one under the onslaught of a federal government that seems to be more concerned about being joined to the "world body" than their own people!

by  Christy  2010-05-18 13:56:23
The Governor of Arizona has exhibited great leadership and courage. I intend to support Arizona through the boycott. I encourage everyone to boycott all individuals, companies, and cities that boycott Arizona. Many of the critics have not read the bill and are hypocrites because according to Mexican law illegal immigration is a felony punishable by two years in prison. No one in Arizona is going to spend two years in prison and we all provide I.D. just going to the grocery store these days. From Islamic terrorists in New York, to drug related crime on the border that hurts people of all backgrounds, and to nuclear disarmament this current administration as failed at national security. This is why I encourage everyone to keep up the great work.
by  J-Ro  2010-05-18 17:43:00
Please DO continue to get this information out there. I will make every effort to buy-cott and educate people and get them on board. Go Joe! Gina! Mike! Jenny! and Mark! We're behind you 100%
by Melinda Meadows  2010-05-18 19:02:39
I am in full support of Arizona law and totally admire Jan Brewer's unending devotion to protect Arizona's citizens. Also, I will support any initiate to buycott Arizona. I appologize and disagree with my state's (Texas) boycott of Arizona.
God Bless Arizona, Jan Brewer and The USA.

Can't be there due to distance and family responsibilities, but I support Arizona and will fight for them if need be! I am sick and tired of our fed gov treating our borders with and utter lack of concern! It is because DC is not near it; if it was and they were faced with the problems, then they would do something about it. I am joining with other Arkansans in petitioning our state to adopt the Arizona law! Don't back down Gov. Brewer and Arizona. Stand, stand, stand, and America will stand with you! God bless you for having courage! Barry and his leftist friends will not have a victory in this! BOYCOTT THOSE WHO BOYCOTT ARIZONA!!

or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of
immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not
be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and
place of birth

Why isn't California getting boycotted for our law? It's because it isn't enforced due to political correctness and liberal controls in the state. November means change or failure for California. Stand strong Arizona, you are the focus of an issue needing greater exposure. It is uniting the American patriots from coast to coast and border to border. November may see resolution if we are allowed to have elections.

If the Mexicans coming here illegally would stand up and fight for freedom and their rights in their own country instead of coming here and abusing the freedoms we have fought for, there might be two great nations. They protest against us yet won't fight for their country. So we all loose in the end. Except maybe the dictators that are at this moment leading our countries with their own agendas.

Arizona needs to file a lawsuit against the fed for their failure to up hold the immigration laws. It would put the fed in the hot seat and help Arizona get the funds they need to fix the issue the other Border states should follow suit and put the fed gov on notice that it will be called to task for a failure to do it's job. Enforce our laws.

HEY there "anonymous", you sound rather like a disgruntled left-winger from back East (not from Mexico) stirring up trouble, maybe inciting a little "RACISM" of your own. You think the Hispanic vote will really help Blumenthal, Sestak and Obama (the liars club)????

I, AND LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE BEHIND ARIZONA 200%!
GOV. BREWER WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY FOR HER PATRIOTISM AND COURAGEOUS ACTIONS IN PROTECTING US CITIZENS FROM ILLEGAL FOREIGNERS ON OUR SOIL!
GOV. BREWER IS TO ADMIRED, RESPECTED AND FOLLOWED BY "ALL"
AMERICANS!
IT IS HEART BREAKING THAT ARIZONA MUST ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT THE FEDERAL WILL NOT. GOD BLESS!
by  avretired  2010-05-29 15:39:30
Irene, we no longer hava a federal government that enforces any law that will not keep them in power. Also, they no longer obey the laws themselves (Sestak sound familiar). In addition, the Constitution is no longer valid as the ultimate law of this nation. Politicians (both parties) and judges do as they please as they feel they are above the law. "We, the people", do not matter to any of them any longer. I fear our right to elections will be next, as a take over action like the banks, car manufacturers, wall street, health care, gun control, etc. I'm told there is no way to stop elections but all of the above I've mentioned was considered impossible for our government to do. So, I can't imagine that stopping elections would be any more difficult. I hope I'm wrong but the current powers want to stay in power. Elections will change that if allowed to go forward.

I am also on immigrant. I came to USA twenty years ago and proudly became America Citizen. Arizona State have all the rights to protect the borthers and their citizens from all the illegals and criminals that try to come here in such way. If any body from other countries wishe to come to USA. May use the front door like manny of us did. This is a great Nation and have place for all of those whom dreams to come here.
by Old Scout  2010-05-28 06:12:01
Why doesn't Arizona just pick up the illegals at the border and bus them to California. Build some nice border crossing stations. Welcome the illegals with open arms give them a few bucks and take them to California. How can the Californians charge you with bringing in illegal aliens? What would be their basis for determining that they were illegals?
by Andrea  2010-05-28 08:52:45
God Bless Arizona for doing the right thing. It takes great courage to swim upstream against a government and media that opposes what is right.
by Don   2010-05-28 10:50:37
I really think the idea is good but this is not the answer. My parents entered this country many years ago. My father joined the service and served 7 years during ww2 then went on to work 30 years for the Federal Avation. They came from eastern Canada, learned english before they entered and were great and proud to become Americans. I know these laws are not about people that followed the system but there are a ton of folks that want to follow the rules but we make it kinda hard to become a legal here...not all folks entering the USA are bad people and I think keeping them all out is not exactly the way we need to do it. We created mess and now we can't solve it...what a shame for all the nice honest folks that want to live here..

Problem: Hard working, responsible people sneaking into the U.S. to better themselves.
Able bodied, lazy citizens demanding welfare support without any willingness to work.

Solution: For each hard working person found here, citizenship.
For each lazy citizen on welfare, transportation to the country of origin of the hard working person granted citizenship.

Outcome: Reduced welfare & taxes at all levels of government.

If you work to better yourself, you stay. If not, you are provided your last free benefit, transportation.
This applies to all able bodied men and women in this country now. Border closure must also be implemented at the same time.

My name is Irwin Mueses Born in NYC. My parents are from the dominican republic which came here legally with work visa in the 70's then was granted citizenship. This issue has bothered me as a Hispanic american but I don not support illegal immigrants constantly breaking the law. It is a privallage to receive citizenship and being apart of this great nation. If they want to migrate to this country do it the way. Go thru proper channels of your exciting country and apply for a visa. Why should another country accept fugatives, drug cartels, under ground smugglers to invade other people and invade their rights. We as americans could not accept unfamiliar faces popping up on our door steps. We have the right to secure our nation. As a hispanic this issue discredits many other latin origins cause of these actions and unite the word LATIN. It is against the law the pass a border period. Why should our nation suffer, they should be sen

One of the other things we must do is to stop the hyphenated American titles. No "African" Americans, "Hispanic" Americans, "Asian" Americans, "Cuban" Americans, etc.

You are an American or not. When you were born here you are an American. If you were naturalized here you gave up your country of origin to be an American!

Political correctness has divided this country against itself for years now.

We do not have a "black" President, for instance. He is an American or not. Skin color has no place in our discussions as Martin Luther King told us. A man's character is what is important.

I am an American regardless of where my ancestors came from originally. Now the question is: Are you????

Hi, I'm an "alien"... Englishman, Desert Storm Veteran, and post military service a qualified intensive care RN. I have visited the USA twice, both times i have stayed with friends in AZ (Mesa).

The friendship and lifestyle impressed me to the point that if i could, i would live and work (legally) in Arizona. However i respect the rule of Law, so until i could acheive that goal i happily accept that i would be limited to visit for vacation only.

If it ever happend that i could legally live in Arizona, I agree 100% that only by the upholding of border law can a sustainable economy be maintained for all citizens of the state. I do have sympathy for those who try to better themselves, however this should always only be within the law.

I Stand with Arizona, (even 5500 miles away) for the right to maintain its immigration and border laws.
