Stand With Arizona in Tempe on May 29th!

 

Arizona is under heavy fire from the left-wing bullies for trying to protect its own citizens from the ravages of illegal immigration.  The entire state is being attacked as 'racist,' 'nazi' and 'extremist.'  (Sound familiar?)  The left-wing bullies believe they can target, isolate and neutralize Arizona, and thereby pressure the people of Arizona to stop enforcing the law.

 

 

If you agree with the left-wingers, then you should feel free to stay home and go on with your life.

 

If, however, you DO support Arizona, we think it's time for all of us to...

 

STAND WITH ARIZONA!!!

 

On Saturday, May 29th, patriots from across the United States will be coming together in Tempe to Stand With Arizona and against the left-wing bullies.

Hooray for AZ!!! If only the rest of the country would wake up and take a stand. I found the list of AZ companies from whom I intend to make purchases from (even though I haven't in the past).
Is there a list of CA companies that we can boycott??
btw - CA has a similar law on the books which it doesn't enforce. It doesn't seem as if the libs are aware of this.

The lack of scrutiny at voters registration allows ILLEGAL fake documentation to produce a vote that should NOT count. Thanks to Gov. Brewer only LEGAL IMMIGRANTS who have made it to Citizen can vote. Arizona is making it count for something to be in the LEGAL immigration process. If you actually read SB1070 bill you will see that it reads 17 pages almost word for word as the Federal law that has been on the books for more than 70 years. Therefore using this logic, the US Federal government must be racists too. I live in AZ and am tired of others, the President especially, calling us racists. We are feed up with illegal activity with concerns to murder, rape, drug and human trafficking, extortion, and home invasion to name a few, that a porous border allows. I am all for Arizona! Thank God some one has finally taken a stand!!! I wish Texas would be the next state to follow in Arizona's steps but I don't see that happening because Gov. Perry is afraid to take a stand on anything for fear of ruining his chances to run in the next presidential election. Think about it. All countries and states have laws to notify people in society about what is and isn't permitted in their territories. You too can become a brother with the people of Arizona by simply abiding by their laws. It's not too hard. Just show your passport or drivers' license when asked by a police officer. Even places like Haiti and Jamaica have laws. Arizona is within its right. You may figure it out...someday.

Yes, I will show up to support Arizona%u2019s right to know who is in its state and support this border State%u2019s right to defend its border from illegal immigrants. The State and local police officers requiring nationality identification must be supported, upheld, and employed by every Southern border State, if not all Continental states. The conflict between the Pro enforcement and Con enforcement groups is simply a choice of support of the Law or support of the Lawbreaker. Every thing else is secondary. Are we a nation that believes in our laws, obeys those laws, supports (no, demands) enforcement of those laws, or, will we become a Nation where local warlords, international drug gangs, corrupt government officials, corrupt police officials turn us into a third world country?

I can't go to Arizona at this time, but I do support Arizonas descision to pass such a law. They must do whatever is necessary to gain fiscal responsibility. The Federal Gov has no interest in protecting our citizens or closing the border or following our constitution. I only hope that more states follow Arizonas lead and pass similar laws. I think most states politicians are fearful of doing such a thing, but we must encourage them to do so.

I live in Texas and have nothing against someone legally coming into the country. My great grandparents came here from Ireland and Germany. But I do stand with Arizona when it come to illegals coming across the borders. I don't care what country they are from if they are illegal than they are breaking the law. Is it "profiling" to use police resources responsibly? Look at the demographics and immigration policy of MEXICO - written by MEXICAN government officials. OVER 90% of their demographic mix is Mexican or Amer-Indian. So, logically around 90% of the stops will be Mexicans, and rightly so. And Mexico's immigration policy is draconian - "show your bank account so you can prove you are financially not a burden to the country of Mexico" - "get private health insurance so you are not a burden" - sounds like the MONOCHROMATIC COUNTRY of MEXICO is sure ready to defend HER CITIZENS. Let's not all Obama-goosestep our way to the destruction of America. I live here in Arizona - and the war has already broken out. All American citizens have a moral obligation to defend this country from all foreign (illegal immigrants) and domestic (our Congress) threats. Arizona is the first state to do so and should be supported 100%. We in this country are fast approaching the day when the welfare folks will out number the tax paying citizens. I just saw Governor Jan Brewer's ad challenging president Obama to do his job. Its fantastic. Governor Brewer has not backed down one iota. She has never even flinched, but has stood firm and been the kind of leader the American people need. I'd like to say that I would definitely support Governor Brewer if she were to decide to run for President of the United States in 2012. She's the perfect candidate, she's eminently qualified, and she epitomizes the kind of leadership this nation needs so desperately. She's the best prospect I've seen yet. If she runs... she has my vote and my full support.

Legal Permanent Residents can have Arizona driver's licenses, right? When my legal immigrant wife naturalizes, she could have her driver's license and Social Security card with her, but her accented English would make the police think she isn't carrying her Resident Card. Another citizen wrongly hauled off, and we will sue big time when it happens.

You know the saying, Do or Die - this is a defining moment. The Bystander Effect is where no one does anything because the belief is someone else will. Like what happened with Kitty Genovese. OK - this is our moment, Law-Abiding Citizens. This is IT. You must really think this through because if this crucial issue is not something that motivates you, what will? Could someone please inform El Paso to take down the two (2) or threee (3) billboards they have positioned next to the I-10 outside of Benson and Willcox?

They are advertising their city within Arizona which I think is improper since they voted recently to boycott AZ due to the immigration legislation.

They should *take down* their ad since as a conservative Californian, I am standing with AZ.

I pass through AZ on the I-10 and am going to boycott El Paso due to their stance.

btw, El Paso is largely populated with anchor babies now adults of those who illegally crossed the Border a generation or so ago.

Ignore El Paso and SF and L.A. and the rest of them.

As a Californian, I can promise you that except for the campaign donors, the vast majority of the populations in these locales spends sixty percent of the their take-home on rent. They have no money.

I'd like to ask a few questions about how my family should react while in Arizona. First, let me provide some background. For almost all of the last 25 years I have served my country in both the Army and Navy. A few years ago I legally immigrated my wife and stepchildren.

Only my wife is currently required (by Federal immigration law) to carry her Resident Card (since she is 18 years or older), my minor stepchildren do not. My wife will have the ability to naturalize (become a U.S. citizen) in less than a year. Once a U.S. citizen, she is not required to carry proof of her citizenship.

What if my minor stepchildren are stopped, they don't normally carry proof of their immigration status?

Once my wife becomes a citizen, what if she is stopped?

With their accents and/or features, it is recognizable that they are immigrants...

I don't understand - My family immigrated legally, doesn't the TEA Party support that? Does 25 years of military service count for nothing? The American women I tried to marry didn't have the values I expected, and you can't fight true love when you find it.

You belittle my wife and call us part of the problem. She has assimilated very well, possibly quicker and better than your ancestors. There are four Legal Permanent Residents in my family.

Carrying "papers" isn't a solution for us, but I see how my questions are answered here, maybe I need to talk to the other guys...

My 10-year old needs to carry her Resident Card with her, even if not Federally required? Once my wife naturalizes, does she, with her accented English, have to carry proof unlike the native-born? Those that aren't impacted just say "Carry papers, you'll be fine.". My family complies with Federal requirements and immigrated legally, but under the new Arizona law would be treated as an underclass.

That certainly sounds like a different set of requirements for my family, and we would not be allowed to be part of your togetherness.

Yes, I stand with Arizona and am appalled that Tuscon, Flagstaff and the Suns haven't. I wonder if they thought about the 70% of us that agree with 1070, who paid for their stadium with tax dollars? Why would anyone think it is OK to come to America or any country illegally and then be upset when the law enforced.
How wrong is it that 4 young students here in Phoenix choose to wear shirts celebrating their American heritage on May 5th and were sent home because it interfered with Cinco de Mayo. Double standards do not belong in a democracy. It is time to take control of our country and future.

i've lived in california for 25 years. growing up i've seen the colors change from white to hispanic to black. i've had to compete with the hispanics for a job in the wine country where certain wine gurus would go to mexico and bring them into the country illegaly. we have to many people in this country already we need to close the borders for immigration all together and clean out the ones who are illegal. then we need to do the same to our whole government. kick out everybody combine all the parties into one and and follow california with going green. then make some stricter laws on immigration and do it moderatly. illegal immigration is all over the whole country. we are in hard times now because of this currant government system. who hunger for oil money and power. we need a government who will care for the people and the land. go green and be organic. the earths fighter

As I understand it, the Arizona law is nothing more then the enforcement of federal law. If that is so, then if the Arizona law is as the left say's, "fachist and un American," then it would follow that the federal law as written must also be... or am I missing something? God bless you clmullins. i went to a rally in front of our state capitol, for the hispanic opposition to this law. mexican flags were flown; all speeches were in spanish. i spoke up to a man with a sign that said GOD BLESS AMERICA and above those words was a swastika. i was appalled. i tell you this b/c he was an hispanic male who told me in broken english that he was from DENVER. i asked him how he had the gall to put those 2 opposing things together on the same sign and carry it in front of MY state capitol. he apologized for it and i could tell it was b/c he was afraid i might be with ICE or some such thing. he disgusted me and i'm absolutely sure he was another illegal pos. thank you for your support of this most important law. we have to rid this country of these beggars who demand we give them handouts then give us back nothing but our own bitten hand.

As an immigrant who came to this country at the age of six speaking only Spanish, I am a firm opponent of those who champion illegal immigration and amnesty for those who were able to get past the Border Patrol. All the adults in my extended family are immigrants who waited our turn before coming to America. We did not think we were special or deserved special treatment, we were just grateful. Like all the other nations of the world, the U.S. has the right to set it's own immigration policy, and none of those here illegally has any right to tell us how to change it.

I am from Illinois, born and raised. But I have vacationed and lived in Phoenix. The first time I visited Phoenix was in 1983 right out of college. I moved out to Phoenix to live in 1999. Stayed there and worked at Sun Health corporation for two years. Came back to Illinois for family reasons. I loved AZ! When I was there I met one of Sheriff Joe's deputies and he was a good conservative man. He said they were having a hell of a time with illegals already 10 years ago. I feel for you people and I am with you 100 percent. So is my family here in Illinois. I also know of at least 10 other people who live near me that support your new law also. sandib - although i completely agree with you on the matter of AZ getting beat up - i feel we need to be a bit careful on who we think it is doing the beating. there are so many liberals out there who totally agree with this law. we musn't put them all in the opposition basket. the truth is most of the opposers are democrats/libs, but mostly WHAT they are are individuals with their own agendas. i don't consider them good Americans (including our president). i consider them con artists just trying to make a dishonest buck off the good people of America.

i believe in open borders. having said that i do not believe in giving anything away to anyboby whether it is medical, educational, housing, food...whatever. that ought to stand for citizen or non-citizen. if the govt. is going to continue their give away programs at the tax payers expense then lock down the borders! if we stop the give aways then most of the border issues will disapear. if we stop our social programs here you can bet people not now working--will work rather than go hungry. also, as an aside, legalize drugs-all of them! that will solve about 90% of that problem in short order. then if anyone hurts or threatens anyone while under the influence- drop the hammer--hard! this is all common sense and will all be ignored. vote libertarian! they are the only ones with real solutions.

I'm not trying to be an ass but do you think we need to stop legal immigration as well as illegal. The great U.S. seems to be full. If we don't stop all immigration for awhile we will have even more trouble due to the alarming size of our population. Welfare and other govt hand out systems will be more stressed than they are now. This Country can't continue with all the hand outs and be fiscally responsible. It just seems to me that it is very crowded and I don't see any relief especially when Americans decide that they need 8,10,15 or 19 children. Just my opinion.

Bruce, you're basically saying the same thing my dad said 20 yrs ago. He said that we need to close our borders to people wanting to come in here for jobs and free everything, BUT allow those who want to leave to do so for the good of our country. I've always loved AZ They dont want a cesspool like LA WHy are we throwing AZ citizens & legal residents under the train for a bunch of illegals who suck up all our resources that should be used for our people first. The Feds must secure the border. What's been happening in Arizona with crime due to ILLEGAL Immigration is coming to your neighborhood soon, you can count on it. Not to mention the abhorrent environmental damage caused by thousands passing through Arizona each day. Trash, clothes, plastic bags and bottles, human excrement, etc. cover our national parks and wildlife riparian areas... it's obscene! I've seen it with my own eyes for years. What Arizona is doing will only help touch on the problem of those already across, as the Cartels control that border, importing not just drugs, but crime, identity theft, rape, extortion, kidnapping, human trafficking, you name it; and cash money flows back to them. Americans must take a stand and say enough is enough. Fix the border first, then talk about the next step. Awakened Patriot - do you know that El presidente Calderon is coming this thursday to speak in front of the senate to tell them that he will not tolerate this bill and just what exactly are they going to do about it? i don't even know how to take that seriously, but i must. we all must. they will listen to him and you KNOW they will. he needs to be asked what HIS laws re: immigration are and how HE has them enforced. they are much the same, but much more stringent and his enforcement of them is simply put - ugly. we need to take this country back from those who would sell it to the highest, most threatening bidder. As a native Texan who grew up in Arizona (Tucson, 1963-1969; my Dad was stationed at Davis-Monthan), you better believe I'm supporting Arizona - and so is the majority of Texas! I just found out that the (extremely liberal) city of Austin, Texas, has joined the boycott against Arizona....and I also heard just this morning that an Austin-based company is trying to build an "arena" in Las Vegas; the Clark county commissioners will discuss it next week. As soon as I get more info I will pass it along here - we MUST battle any and all who boycott Arizona - and I'll do it at the expense of Texas if need be!

I am a Middle Class, well-educated, Independent American citizen and I would like to applaud the MAJORITY of the people in AZ that had the courage and dedication to TRUE leadership that was displayed in the passing of HB 1070. While not perfect, there needs to be a line in the sand somewhere (pun intended!) and as the old saying goes, We have to stand for something or we'll fall for anything. I personally use, "I like to keep an open mind, but not so open that my brain falls out."

I will not be able to attend the rally, but I have already cancelled my surprise anniversary trip to San Diego and have started calling resorts in Sedona.

I am a liberal myself who SUPPORTS this law and Arizona. Please do not assume that all those against it are from the left, or that all those for it are from the right.

There is a lot of crossover. Illegal immigrants must be STOPPED! I support LEGAL immigration but have not one drop of sympathy for illegal immigrants. I would gladly be willing to carry MY proof of citizenship and so should every American.

Illegals are bleeding this country dry. Arizona's law should be the law in every state in the US.

Idiots on the city council in Austin Tx have decided to boycott AZ. Hence the wife and I will boycott Austin and encourage all to do the same. The best voice of dissent is the dollar which Austin will see none of ours till they drop the boycott. if Rick Perry has any hair on his ass he will put a halt to all this nonsence and hold any state dollars from cities in Tx that impose boycotts. My family is blessed to know three generations of a fine family in Mazatlan, Mexico. They are highly
outraged that illegals come here and our tax dollars go to support them. They are equally upset that young girls and women cross our borders and pop out their babies. The hard working people of Mexico know their government is corrupt but they do not support their fellow citizens sneaking across our borders and sucking our resources dry.
Just remember. People coming here legally are sucking us dry, too. They are awarded benefits that you and I cannot obtain. Hundreds of thousands come here and are immediately put on the Social Security payroll even though they've never worked in this country. We need to close our borders completely and allow our country bounce back. Then consider letting others come in but only with proof of income and residence.

The Obama administration and their failure (like Bush) to secure the borders in Arizona has brought about this problem. When Govennor Brewer of Arizona tried to solve that problem of secure borders Obama sent in Al Sharpton and La Raza and a protest to security.
I am in full support of the Rally in Tempe Diablo Stadium on May 29th 6 pm. I will BUYcott Arizona to fight against it losing tourists. The Nation will answer and support Arizona.

I SUPPORT ARIZONA'S LAW. It is up to the Federal Government to secure our borders, to keep illegals out of our country. Illegals are breaking our laws, and are putting a drain on our economy. I live in El Paso, Texas across the river from all the killing in Juarez. I totally support Arizona in passing the recent law and if I had the chance would have made it stronger allow auortities to ask for identification at random from everyone regardless of color. A small price to pay for security in our country. I am required to show my I.D. to any officer of the law who asks me to do so and take no offence. All of America needs to deport all illegal persons in our country as quickly as possible and deny any form of amnest. Also, please get out and vote out the current administration in Washington and anyone else that has the same beliefs. We at this time are at risk of losing America and need to take it back regardless of what we need to do within the law and our constituion of which we all should cherish. If you are illegally in our country get out. Any that demostrate aginst our laws should be arrested if found not to be a legal citizen deported from this country.

We are with you 100%--sorry we can not be in Tempe on the 29th, we will be enjoying Arizona in the cool air of Prescott with our family and spending our money shopping that would have gone to El Paso, Tx where we live IF the City Council had not voted to forbid its employees from visiting Arizona on City business--talk about racially motivated actions.

Yea, you go Arizona. Legal citizens have been ignored forever, while politicians want illegals here, either to vote for them, or for businesses to have cheap labor. Wish California would follow, but too many liberals standing in the way. Hope to vote them out soon. Obama and his bunch met with Pres Calderon and apologized for the Ariz law. Who do they support, obviously not us. The Arizona law is nowhere as strict as Mexico's immigration laws, you go to jail for a criminal offense there. THIS IS A TRUE STORY i recently moved to El Paso. I am unemployed and went to a employment orientation. My class was at 12:15. Approximately at that time a lady came out and starting speaking spanish to everyone. Everybody got up and went with her to another room. I stayed figuring whatever she said was not for me of course i wouldn't now since i don't speak spanish. After about 5 minutes i walked up to the counter where i signed in and asked the gentleman if he knows when the orientation class was starting. He then told me it started about 5 minutes ago and i would have to reschedule since since he thought i just walked in the door. I asked him what he was talking about and showed him that i signed in and have been here for 15 minutes. I said a lady came out and walked up to a bunch of people and started talking spanish and they all got up and left. He asked me did she not start using english,i said no. he took me back to the class told her and she started speaking english.

My family and I came to the U.S. legally. It was my father's dream to become a U.S. citizen and be able to vote. Today he would be very disappointed to know that this wonderful country is encouraging lack of honesty, truth and ethics, by allowing and compensating illegal immigrants to enjoy the same benefits of those of us who came to this country by obeying the law of the land and through hard work, honesty, loyalty and with high personal ethics. How does someone that breaks the law (by coming to a country deifying their laws) be considered a person of high moral character? Good for Arizona's enforcement of the existing immigration law.

Wish we could be there Arizona to stant proudly with real citizens of the United States of America. Mexico seems to think they have the right to take this wonderful country and turn it into a failed nation like theirs. Having lived legally in Mexico for many years and abided by every rule they could possibly enact, we are back home and glad to be here except for the outrageious actions of this flood of illegals. We have naively permitted our own government to hand it over. Citizens arise and support Arizona!

There are no laws on the books targeting hispanics or Mexicans. The largest group of illegal aliens in this country are hispanic and of that group Mexicans make up the largest percentage. The reason it has become ethnic based is because of the single ethnic based special interest groups. They have the most to gain from any form of amnesty by way of political power. The demorats are running scared and I deploy the Federal Government "just" getting around to looking at the major issue. I was proud to stand with the people of Arizona in their fight to secure their border and keep their citizens safe. Unfortunately after the votes were counted in the Senate primary and the people of Arizona voted to keep that two-faced RINO amnesty pushing John McCain as their senator I was utterly shocked!

There's an old saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." After all the history we've had with McCain and you still chose him, was Haworth that bad? Arizona had a chance to send a strong message and failed, maybe you deserve "Build That Dang Fence" Johnny. I withdraw my support of your state on this issue and when Johnny bends the people of Arizona over that hitching post and they start to feel that unwanted feeling again in the seat of their pants don't even think about complaining!
